Group music lessons now offered to Manchester students by the community music school

The Manchester Community Music School is proud to partner with the Manchester School District to offer after school group music lessons for middle and high school students.

Students must have their own instrument to participate. Group lessons will run for 30 minutes after school between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. Lessons will last in 8-weeks sessions. Instrumental offerings and locations can be found below; additional instrumental lessons will be added as teachers become available.  

To register, please fill out the registration form and return it to your music teacher along with the deposit by Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

A confirmation of your start date will be provided once your registration is received. The cost for 8 weeks of after school group lessons is $120.00.  Please make checks payable to MCMS.

WANTED: Community professionals to participate in Career Day

On Wednesday, March 29, 2017, Manchester High School West is hosting a school-wide Career Day. The structure will be different from similar events that often follow a "career fair"-type format in which professionals representing various fields set up displays and wait to be approached by interested students. At West, every teacher will be matched with a guest speaker related to his or her subject area. For example, in the math department, one teacher may host an accountant while other math teachers host a stockbroker or a carpenter. Students will follow their regular schedules and be introduced to a different career field with each class change. Kindergarten and new first grade registration dates announced

Kindergarten and New First Grade Registration Dates Announced Manchester’s elementary schools will be accepting registrations for kindergarten and new first grade students in April.  Students currently attending MSD’s pre-school programs do not have to register for kindergarten at their neighborhood school ; those records will be transferred.  Not sure which is your neighborhood school?  Find it HERE .
