Back to school events scheduled

Some schools are hosting events to welcome in the new school year. They are listed below. If your school is planning a similar event, please send information to communications@mansd.org, and we will include them here.

Bakersville Elementary and Bishop O'Neil Center families are invited to a welcome back to school picnic!*Bring your own picnic dinner OR make a donation and enjoy a hot dog, snacks, desserts and drinks!*Meet our new principal, Mrs. Josef*Participate in a 50/50 raffle “butterfly drop” from a hook and ladder fire truck*Purchase a cool treat from the Kona Ice Truck *Connect with other families, staff, and friends while enjoying some music from our house DJ, bubbles, hoola-hoops and sidewalk chalk artDate: Wednesday, August 31Time: 5:00-6:30 pmPlace: Bakersville field**All Students must be accompanied by an adult family member****All donations and a portion of purchases from Kona Ice will go directly back to the school to benefit our students!!!

Come on down to the Smyth Road playground to meet old classmates, find out who's in your class and meet NEW friends!
Kindergarten & First Grade: Monday, August 29 6-7pm
Second & Third Grades: Tuesday, August 30 6-7pm
Fourth & Fifth Grades: Wednesday, August 31 6-7pm
Autism program: Thursday, September 1 6-7pm
